PORT ANGELES — People could be forgiven if they were shocked by the outcome of Friday night’s Rainshadow Rumble.
The Port Angeles Roughriders were the least shocked people in Civic Stadium.
The Riders felt like an underdog, maybe even a big underdog, going into Friday’s clash with rival Sequim. The Wolves had looked very solid early this season, going 3-0 while riding a stifling defense and some big games from Zeke Schmadeke, Kaden Miller and Liam Wiker. Other than a couple of late meaningless touchdowns given up to Elma last week, the Wolves had allowed just 34 points through 11 quarters.
