Eamonn Sweeney: It’s time to do the right thing and kick Israel out of international sport

It’s time to kick Israel out of international sport. In fact, it’s past time. But there are welcome signs that sport may finally be about to treat Netanyahu’s Israel in the same way it treated Putin’s Russia and apartheid-era South Africa.

On Thursday it was reported that Uefa would meet this week to discuss banning Israel from European competition. A “large majority” of executive members are reported to be in favour of doing so.
