Jens Berthel Askou wasn’t surprised Motherwell bagged a last-gasp win over Aberdeen and said they were pushing for their first three Premiership points of the season. ‌

Johnny Koutroumbis struck a minute into stoppage time to give the Steelmen the lead, and Apostolos Stamatelopoulos doubled that lead from the spot, after Alfie Dorrington fouled sub Esapa Osong. ‌

The win puts Motherwell up to fourth in the Premiership table, as they head for Celtic Park next Sunday. ‌

Askou was delighted with the win, and reckons bravery got them there in the end.
