TRUMBULL COUNTY, OH - A local non-profit held their 15th annual War Against Breast Cancer fundraiser at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds.
The organization helps local breast cancer survivors with their lost wages and out-of-pocket medical bills related to their diagnosis.
The event featured over 400 raffle baskets, a silent auction, food trucks and activities for kids.
Over the last 14 years, the event has raised over $200,000.
"For 14 years, we have already done $207,000 worth," treasurer Britnee Mullee said. "Helping someone each year, it helps them so much. My Mom's best friend was last year's honoree. Most of the time I don't know the recipient but it brings just as much joy."
This year, proceeds go to Stage 3 breast cancer survivor Colleen Case from Niles.
