The Gaels, No. 8 in U Sports national rankings, ran their record to 4-2 on the season with their first victory at home in the 2025 OUA season, while York fell to 2-3. Article content Article content

Queen’s jumped out to a 3-0 on a 29-yard field goal by Tyler Mullen on their first possession. On the Gaels’ next possession, slotback Russell Weir took a short pass from quarterback Alex Vreeken and ran 84-yards for a touchdown. Thereafter the rout was on.

Weir’s reception by the longest play of the day for the winners, but only by the barest of margins–slotback Nathan Falconi had an 83-yard reception and two touchdowns on the day.
