Hugh Freeze went from saying his offense had “zero rhythm " to declaring the unit was “inept” all in the span of a quarter.

Down 13-3 to Texas A&M at halftime , Auburn has mustered just 105 yards of total offense and just 30 on the ground.

“Offensively, we are inept,” Freeze told the Auburn Radio Network at halftime. “I could be wrong but every single possession, we’ve had a penalty. I think every possession we’ve had a penalty.”

Penalties have, indeed, been plentiful and untimely. The Tigers have been flagged eight times for 54 yards.
