Oasis paid tribute to Ricky Hatton during their gig at Wembley tonight (Saturday). In what was their first UK gig since the passing of the Mancunian boxing icon, the band, who were pals of Ricky, paid their respects.

A huge image of Ricky flashed up on the screen during their iconic track Live Forever.

Afterwards, the official social media page of Wembley Stadium shared an image of the tribute, with the words, 'For Ricky' and a blue love heart.

Earlier in the night, Richard Ashcroft is said to have dedicated Bittersweet Symphony to the star, who died aged 46 on Sunday, September 14.
