The magic number is down to one as the Toronto Blue Jays head into the final day of the MLB regular season.

Tied with matching 93-68 records, the Blue Jays and New York Yankees each picked up victories on Saturday.

Toronto took care of business against the Tampa Bay Rays, as a bold pitching choice paid off with a 5-1 win at Rogers Centre. Meanwhile, the red-hot Yankees won their seventh straight game, a 6-1 triumph over the Baltimore Orioles.

That sets up a dramatic Sunday, with the AL East Division title on the line. If the Blue Jays win, or if the Yankees lose, Toronto will be crowned division champions for the first time since 2015.
