After six long months of regular season baseball, it’s come down to the final game on Sunday.

The winner of the American League East will be determined by Game 162, after both the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees won Saturday .

Both teams are tied atop the division with 93-86 records. But the Jays have the all-important tiebreaker because of a better head-to-head record against the Yankees this season. That means Toronto is in control of its own fate:

• If the Jays win against the Tampa Bay Rays at Rogers Centre, they win the AL East and skip the first playoff round no matter what the Yankees do.

• It the Jays lose and the Yankees beat the last-place Baltimore Orioles, New York takes the division.

• If both the Jays and the Yankees lose, Toronto wins the division.
