A 20-year-old Puna man was charged by complaint Friday with several crimes related to a Sept. 17 firearms incident on the roadway in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision, the Hawaii County Prosecutor”s office said.

Noa Lolohea made his initial appearance in Hilo District Court Friday. Bail was maintained at $261,000, and he was ordered for a preliminary hearing Sept. 30.

The incident occurred on the road fronting a home on 29th Avenue, county officials said in a Friday news release.

The complaint charges him with first-degree reckless endangering, first-degree terroristic threatening, and four counts of firearms and ammunition offenses including carrying or possessing a loaded firearm on a public highway, as well as driving without a license and third-degree promoting a dangerous drug
