BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Saturday’s weather made it a great day to get outside, and crowds in Bangor did just that as they took the Waterfront, rallying for recovery efforts.

With live music, full crowds and plenty of activities, the energy was high for Recovery Palooza.

Saturday saw the fourth year of the event, hosted by Bangor Area Recovery Network (BARN).

“It started out at the BARN in our parking lot as a block party and it’s made its way to this,” recalls Madison Valle, Community Outreach Specialist at BARN. “It feels amazing because just seeing how many people come out and celebrate recovery and believe in recovery, it just is really touching and it’s awesome to see it grow every year.”

This year, over 50 local organizations came out to share resources and advertise the services
