ST. LOUIS — Police are investigating a shooting in north St. Louis that left one man dead and another critically injured Saturday afternoon.
According to police, officers were called to the 5300 block of Ruskin Avenue around 2:30 p.m. with reports of gunfire.
When they arrived, officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police have confirmed that one of the victims has since died. The other man remains hospitalized in critical condition.
Detectives are gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as they work to piece together what led up to the shooting. So far, no arrests have been made.
