A banner golf season for the Capital Region was headlined by hosting four New York State Championships, several local courses celebrating milestones and a couple of standout players picking up multiple trophies. What started out as a rainy mess turned into a brilliant summer of outstanding weather and prime performances.

As I usually do with my final golf column of the season, here are my picks for the most memorable achievements and/or events in 2025.
