MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An Overton Park crash, described as "intentional" by Memphis police, sent one officer to the hospital and left a woman in police custody.

Officers responded to a possible shots fired call around 5:15 p.m. inside the park. The officers spoke to a woman whose van was not shot, but was hit by a golf ball.

According to officials, the woman left the scene, then returned and intentionally rammed an MPD squad car.

The officer inside the car was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.

The woman was detained by the police.

MPD says this is an ongoing investigation.
