KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A big win over the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday night. The Vols take down Mississippi State, in overtime, 41-34.

Tennessee hands the Bulldogs their first loss of the season and the Vols improve to 4-1, picking up their first SEC win.

Mississippi State wins the toss and elects to take the football first, so the Vols defense steps up to plate to start. They start strong. Tennessee forces a three and out with a sack from Dominic Bailey on 3rd & 9. The Vols 16th sack of the season.

On the punt, Braylon Staley fumbles the ball. Xavier Gayten falls on it. Mississippi State gets the ball back in scoring position. On 3rd &5, Joshua Josephs picks up a personal foul and the Bulldogs score on the next play and jump out to a 7-0 lead early.
