Brisbane premiership hero Brandon Starcevich faces a nervous wait after suffering yet another head knock in Saturday’s grand final win over Geelong.

Starcevich was crunched in a marking contest late in the third quarter when he went back with the flight and cannoned into Ollie Dempsey.

He stayed down on the ground while being attended to by medical staff.

Starcevich, who did a superb job on Geelong captain Patrick Dangerfield throughout the match, was able to walk from the field but played no further part in the game.

It’s the latest in the long list of head knocks that have plagued the 26-year-old’s past two seasons.
