COLUMBIA — South Carolina football scored two defensive touchdowns in less than a minute against Kentucky on Sept. 27.

South Carolina edge rusher Dylan Stewart sacked Kentucky quarterback Cutter Boley, and Jatius Geer recovered the fumble and ran 41 yards for a touchdown. Then within three plays, the Gamecocks' defense scored again.

The Gamecocks were down 10-7 to start the second quarter before the huge momentum shift. After Geer's touchdown Kentucky had one play for a 1-yard rush, then Gerald Kilgore intercepted Boley on second-and-10 for a 45-yard pick-6.

South Carolina leads 21-10 after the two huge plays from its defense. The first touchdown was with 11:27 left in the second quarter, the second with 10:42.
