SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - The first Pride on C-Street event was hosted on Saturday by Springfield’s Glo Center, with additional security due to threats earlier in the week.

Springfield’s Glo Center, an organization that supports the LGBTQ+ community across the Ozarks, shut its doors temporarily this week after it was threatened with unspent rifle cartridges.

On Monday morning, employees from the Glo Center say they found unspent rifle bullets with threatening messages inscribed on them on the doorstep of their building.

Executive Director Aaron Schekora said this led the organization to discuss security.
