LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - As Halloween draws closer, many people will soon be on the lookout for a perfect pumpkin and this year, there will be plenty of good options.
News 10 spoke to Philip Korson, the owner of Clearview Orchards in Ingham County. He said this year’s pumpkin crop looks strong.
“This year’s pumpkin crop here looks pretty good,” he said.
Korson is a long time farmer and said the weather through Summer has helped shape the nice pumpkin yield.
“We got rain at the really critical times,” Korson said. “And that is really what it’s all about with pumpkins. And the warm weather actually gave us a really good size this year. So in general, we got a lot of really good sized pumpkins and we are looking forward to a really nice season.”
