CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) -- Charlotte FC is back home and looking to bounce back from a devastating, streak-ending loss to New York City. The team held a strong nine-game win streak and remained tied with the Seattle Sounders for the longest streak in MLS.

The Crown faced off against CF Montreal (5-9-17) in April, which ended with Charlotte FC claiming a 1-0 win over Montreal. Charlotte is currently fourth in the Eastern Conference.

The team heads into Saturday's match without second-leading scorer Pep Biel due to injury. The team hopes that this match will allow them to stay in the top-four spot. Montreal has long been eliminated from playoff contention.
