Serious injuries are reported after a motorcycle accident in Thompson, police said.

State police said they responded to the accident at 6:15 p.m. for a report of a crash involving a motorcycle on I-395 North in the area of Exit 50.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is on scene assisting with the northbound closure.

Thompson fire authorities said that Route 395 northbound at Route 200 is closed at this time.
