Scattered showers and storms will continue overnight tonight and into Sunday morning. Cloudy skies could bring a lighter, more steady rainfall. Areas that see sunshine will have a better chance at seeing heavier rain in the afternoon. Again, widespread showers and thunderstorms will develop by Sunday afternoon, including a better chance for heavier rain in the Albuquerque Metro. The heaviest rain Saturday will likely fall in north-central New Mexico down to south-central parts of the state. High temperatures will be below average statewide Sunday afternoon.
