FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Following consecutive performances allowing 59 points, Washington State's (3-2) defense had their wake-up moment.
The Cougs rolled over the Colorado State Rams (1-3) to win 20-3, the fewest points WSU has allowed this season.
Quarterback Zevi Eckhaus played a strong, clean game, throwing 16/28, 189 yards and two touchdowns, including a deep shot to Jeremiah Noga
WSU committed no turnovers for the second game this season, and they won both. This compares especially well to the eight turnovers Wazzu coughed up over the past two matchups.
The Cougs head into the bye week well, but stay on the road in the next contest, a 9:45 a.m. PST kickoff at the No. 13 Ole Miss Rebels.
