STATE COLLEGE – In a game full of momentum swings, No. 6 Oregon made the biggest play of the game in double overtime and prevailed 30-24 over No. 3 Penn State on Saturday night at Beaver Stadium.

James Franklin’s Penn State side rallied from a 17-3 deficit in the fourth quarter to force overtime.

Then it got weird.

The Lions took a 24-17 lead in extra time on a four-yard touchdown run by Kaytron Allen, followed by a Ryan Barker extra point.

Oregon answered with quarterback Dante Moore’s short scoring pass to tight end Jamari Johnson and an extra point by Atticus Sappington.

The Ducks took a 30-24 lead on Moore’s 25-yard touchdown pass to Gary Bryant Jr. but Moore’s two-point conversion pass was intercepted by PSU defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton.
