LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) — It’ll be October this week, which means spooky season is on the way, and for all the “wild and untamed things” out there, that means it’s almost time for “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”

There’ll be a light on over at the historic Joyo Theater in Lincoln’s Havelock neighborhood, where you can go on a “strange journey.”

It’s the 50th anniversary of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” and Lincolnites can join Brad and Janet on their visit to Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s castle starting Friday, Oct. 3.

The cult classic features actors like Tim Curry and Susan Sarandon and combines live acting and traditional film in a way you have to see to believe — including an appearance by beloved musical artist Meat Loaf.
