Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has expressed deep grief over the tragic stampede at Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay’s rally in Karur, Tamil Nadu, which claimed at least 39 lives. In a heartfelt message, the Chief Minister conveyed condolences to the bereaved families and extended solidarity with the people of Tamil Nadu during this moment of collective mourning.
Taking to Facebook, Pinarayi Vijayan described the incident as “extremely sad” and said that the magnitude of the loss is heartbreaking. “The incident in which many people lost their lives and several others were injured during a rally in Karur is extremely tragic. I convey my deepest sorrow and condolences to the families who have lost their dear ones,” he wrote.
In his statement, Vijayan
