For the second straight night, Humboldt and Melville needed overtime—and for the second straight night, the Broncos prevailed.

Connor Miller played hero on Saturday, scoring with 39 seconds left in overtime to give Humboldt a 4-3 victory and improve their record to 5-0.

Jacob Strizzi netted his league-leading sixth goal of the season and added an assist, while Kristian Lacelle and Ryder Knutson also scored.

For Melville, 20-year-olds Edward Knittig and Matthew Edwards struck 1:31 apart late in the first period, before Wesley Golden forced overtime with a goal inside the final four minutes of regulation.
