GREELEY, Colo. — Make that a two-game winning streak for Idaho State football.

The Bengals dominated on the ground and had their best defensive effort of the season against a like-minded opponent as they spoiled Northern Colorado's homecoming with a 26-18 win.

ISU ran for 289 yards, got 25 first downs, had 539 yards of total offense and controlled the ball for almost 33 minutes in the win. The ISU offensive line didn't allow any sacks and the Bengals only turned the ball over once on a fumble by quarterback Jordan Cooke. The ISU defense stopped UNC's ground game, holding them to only 30 yards in the contest.

The win moved the Bengals to 2-3 on the year and 1-0 in league play. UNC dropped to 2-3 on the year, 0-1 in the Big Sky.
