SJEC Women’s Chess team emerged as II runner up & Men’s Chess team emerged as III runner up

Mangaluru, Sep 28: St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, Women’s Chess team secured the II runner-up trophy and the Men’s Chess team secured the III runner-up trophy in the VTU Rest of Bengaluru Division Chess Championship, organized by VVCE, Mysuru, on September 25 and 26.

The teams showcased remarkable skill and determination under the guidance of Vaneesha V Rodrigues, Physical Education Director (PED), and Sudheer, assistant PED.

The management of SJEC congratulates both the teams and the Physical Education directors for bringing laurels to the institution with this outstanding achievement.
