La Quinta rallied from 22-point deficit, but falls to Central in overtime

It's a 92-mile bus ride from La Quinta High School to Central High School in El Centro, and Blackhawks' coach Ramon Ruiz joked "I think we forgot to get off the bus for the first half."

In a wild game, La Quinta found themselves thoroughly outplayed and trailing 22-0 early in the second quarter, but then the Blackhawks got going. By the time the final buzzer rang, they had come all the way back to tie it at 29-29 and force overtime.
