BOULDER, Colorado – The BYU Cougars haven’t played their best football against the Colorado Buffaloes, but that hasn’t prevented them from keeping the game close.

Trailing 14-10, Bear Bachmeier spearheaded a touchdown drive that gave the Cougars their first lead of the evening.

The Cougars pieced together a nine-play, 74-yard possession that was aided by Colorado’s third pass interference penalty of the night.

On 4th-and-Goal from the two, Bachmeier fired a dart to a wide-open Chase Roberts to take a 17-14 lead midway through the third quarter.
