Donald Trump has never been more of an imposter president than in his role as international peacekeeper. His conceited boast to end the Ukraine war on Inauguration Day is nine months and thousands of cruel deaths overdue.

Since June, Putin’s fierce aerial campaign has been relentless, with nearly 12,000 drones and over 400 missiles launched, killing more than 500 civilians.

Our president has now injected himself into this war as a referee — a “peacemaker” he calls himself. Thus far, his uneven “diplomacy” has left confusion, delays, and more deaths, giving Putin what he wants, and confounding our allies.
