‘Swami’ Chaitanyanand Saraswati, accused of sexually harassing several women students, has forged visiting cards for BRICS and the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), police found during interrogation.

On one of the accused’s visiting cards, he identified himself as a BRICS Commission Member and had written “Special Envoy from India”. In the UN visiting card, he described himself as a “Permanent Ambassador”.

The police are continuing to interrogate Chaitanyanand.

Chaitanyanand was arrested from the Agra hotel early Sunday, police said.
