On Sunday at 3:31 a.m. the National Weather Service released a dense fog advisory in effect until 9 a.m. for Northern Clinton, Northern Centre, Southern Centre, Northern Lycoming, Southern Clinton and Southern Lycoming as well as Elk, Cameron, Clearfield, Cambria, Blair, Huntingdon, Somerset, Bedford, Fulton, Franklin, Union, Snyder, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Cumberland and Adams counties.

"Visibility less than one quarter mile in dense fog," can be expected according to the weather service. "Clear skies and light winds have resulted in areas of dense fog. Persons traveling this morning should be alert for a wide range of conditions."

"Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility," says the weather service. "Consider allowing extra time to reach your destination."
