Western media outlets on Saturday reported details of “the Trump 21-point plan for peace in the Middle East and Gaza." The Washington Post said it obtained a copy of the plan, verified by officials from two governments familiar with the discussions.

According to the report, the proposal calls for an immediate halt to all military operations in Gaza as the first step toward ending the war. The Times of Israel separately noted that the framework draws heavily from former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair’s earlier proposal for resolving the Israel-Hamas conflict.

WaPo added that if both sides agree, existing “battle lines" would be frozen, with 20 living hostages and the remains of more than two dozen others set to be released within 48 hours.
