Former cricketer Mithun Manhas becomes the new president of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Manhas has officially taken over as the new president of the board suceeding Roger Binny, whose tenure ended in August 2025.

Binny earlier replaced Sourav Ganguly and stepped down as soon as he turned 70, the line with board’s age-cap policy.

Alongside Manhas, several key appointments have been confirmed. Rajiv Shukla will now serve as the vice president, while Devjit Saikia has been named the new secretary. A.
