BRISTOL, Tenn. – As postseason volleyball in the TSSAA looms, the Tennessee High Vikings have state tournament aspirations after falling one match short of qualifying for the event a year ago.

On Saturday, they got a glimpse of a team that has a pretty good shot at making reservations in Murfreesboro themselves in a few weeks.

The William Blount Governors showed why they are a Class AAA program to be reckoned with as they took a 25-13, 25-21 triumph over Tennessee High in the finals of the Stateline Slam at Viking Hall.

Blount swept all six of its matches on Saturday in improving to 27-1.
