Before Sunday, the NFL's closest connection to the Irish was Notre Dame football players and Lucky Charms.

That is set to end, however, with the league's first game in Dublin at Croke Park – the de facto national stadium of Ireland and home of the Gaelic Athletic Association. With that in mind, it's only fitting that the NFL's first Ireland game features the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Rooney family, owners of the Steelers, has roots in Ireland that date back to their ancestors. Their inclusion in the game is two-fold when you consider that some of Pittsburgh's first settlers came from the region.

As the league taps into a new market, everything surrounding it will be written in the history books – the first kickoff, the first touchdown, the first game, but who will be the first announcers with that honor?

Here's a look at who will be on the call for the NFL's first game in Dublin.

Who are the announcers for Steelers vs Vikings in Dublin?

The NFL's first game in Dublin will feature some familiar voices from the "NFL on Fox" crew. Joe Davis handles the play-by-play with Greg Olsen joining him in the book to provide analysis.

Pam Oliver and NFL Network's Jaime Erdahl are set to report from the sidelines. Mike Pereira will serve as the rules analyst.

Davis and Olsen are in their second season as broadcast partners, with the latter formerly serving as the network's top analyst before Tom Brady joined. Davis has risen in the ranks as an announcer in recent years. He's famously the play-by-play announcer for MLB's Los Angeles Dodgers and the World Series on Fox.

Oliver is no stranger to NFL sidelines, holding the title of being the longest tenured sideline reporter in the league. Erdahl is a co-host on NFL Network's "Good Morning Football," after serving as a sideline reporter for the SEC on CBS.
