ATLANTA — The Jackets survived. The Dawgs did not.

Both of Georgia's biggest programs found themselves in nail-biters on Saturday, with Tech going down early and coming back to hold off Wake Forest in overtime and then UGA going down early and falling just short of a comeback against Alabama in Athens.

The results leave Georgia Tech as the Peach State's lone undefeated FBS team -- though not the only unbeaten D1 program. West Georgia in FCS kicked a game-winning field goal as time expired to edge out Southern Utah on the road, and the Wolves moved to 5-0.
