Do the parts of nature have spirits or spiritual energies?

According to a Pew Research Center survey, nearly half of U.S. adults say they believe that parts of nature — such as mountains, rivers or trees — can have their own spirits or spiritual energies.

Many believe that nature has consciousness/soul and there is spiritual energy in it. Let us have a respectful relationship with nature. They are of the view that all life is interconnected. Energies flow among them. Nature is alive. Physical and spiritual domains are interlaced. There are spirits in air, fire, mountains, plants, rivers, etc. There is divinity and sacredness in nature.

Many others argue that nature is God's great gift, but in itself is not divine. Some insist that these beliefs lack scientific evidence.
