DSP’s blockbuster song “Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava” from Pushpa became a nationwide sensation.

Recently, however, Turkish singer Atiye used the tune for her track “Anlayana”. Despite this, Oo Antava remains an undeniable chartbuster in India.

On the other hand, Thaman’s “OMI Trance” from OG has come under fire for being heavily inspired by Albanian singer Irkenc Hyka’s “Lumi Uni”, released a year earlier.

Critics argue that while DSP’s work inspired others globally with his Oo antava, Thaman’s OG song was a direct lift without credit.
