MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW)-- Sunday, September 28th, 2025 9:00 AM update. Tropical Depression #9 continues to slowly move through the Bahamas. Winds sustained at 35 mph, moving Northwest at 7 mph.
Looking at the current forecast, Imelda will continue to move through the Bahamas on today, and slowly move north to just off the southeast coast by Monday evening. This will help bring in a strong flow off the Atlantic. We will start to see some bands of rain, which could be heavy at times. Some gusty conditions will be possible as well.
Imelda will then track slowly to the north to just off the coast between Hilton Head Island and Charleston. This is where Imelda will decide to stall, move inland, or out to sea. If the storm stalls or moves closer to land, this will continue to feed in abundan
