PITTSBURGH —

A woman is in custody after a stabbing in Pittsburgh's Glen Hazel neighborhood Sunday morning.

According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, police were called to the 620 block of Johnston Avenue for a stabbing around 8:30 a.m. Advertisement

When they arrived, they learned two women were involved in a dispute inside a home.

Authorities say one of the women brandished a knife and stabbed the other woman in the stomach.

The suspect was taken into custody. The victim was taken to a hospital where she is reported to be stable.

Pittsburgh police are investigating. Officials say charges are expected.
