CAL FIRE crews responding to structure fire burning near Buckeye northwest of Redding

BUCKEYE, Calif. - Firefighters from CAL FIRE Shasta-Trinity Unit are responding to a fire burning near Buckeye outside of Redding Friday afternoon.

CAL FIRE has multiple resources heading to the area of the 12000 block of Bailey Road in Buckeye after receiving reports of a possible structure fire that was threatening surrounding vegetation.

Upon arrival, crews found a structure that was on fire. According to CAL FIRE, there is no threat to vegetation from the fire at this time.

The fire is currently visible on the Bear Mountain Shasta 1 AlertCalifornia camera.
