Team USA weren’t the only ones to embarrass themselves at the Ryder Cup this weekend.
Comedian and actress Heather McMahan, who was working as master of ceremonies at the first tee at Bethpage Black, stepped down from her role after being caught on video leading “F–k you, Rory” chants directed at Rory McIlroy.
The PGA of America announced in a statement Sunday morning that McMahan would not return to her role for the final day of the Ryder Cup.
“Heather McMahan has extended an apology to Rory McIlroy and Ryder Cup Europe and has stepped down from hosting the first tee of the Ryder Cup,” the statement said.
