Banks across the country will be closed on Thursday, October 2, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

New Delhi: The festive season is underway. Durga Puja, Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath are coming up. The last two days of September are left, and the new month of October is about to begin. The week starting Monday is full of holidays. Banks will be closed for the entire week from September 29th to October 5th. Banks will remain closed, so check clearance, draft making, loan or passbook-related work will be suspended.

Customers who withdraw or deposit cash at bank branches may face difficulties with cash transactions. Therefore, it’s best to make cash arrangements before the bank holidays. However, there will be no problems with online transactions, UPI, etc.
