DUBLIN -- Pittsburgh Steelers star cornerback Darius Slay went down with an injury against the Minnesota Vikings . After a contested grab by a Vikings receiver down the sideline, he landed on Slay, who came up limping and went off gingerly with trainers by his side.
Slay has dealt with a few injuries over the past few weeks. Against the Seahawks, he came out of the game briefly with a shoulder injury. That shoulder injury did not force him to miss any practice time and he played the next week. Against the Patriots, Slay had a leg contusion that limited him over the game and cut some of his practice time short.
Now, it is unknown what this ailment is, but Slay has been someone who is banged up and the Steelers would like to manage snaps with so it keeps his wear and tear down.
