Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Saturday while travelling to Shimla in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district, police confirmed. The singer was rushed to Fortis Hospital in Mohali at 1:45 pm in an “extremely critical” condition.

The accident occurred in the Baddi area when Jawanda reportedly lost control of his motorcycle. He sustained severe head and spine injuries and had suffered a cardiac arrest before being transferred to Fortis Hospital.

According to the hospital statement, “As per available information, he sustained severe head and spine injuries in a road accident in the morning and also suffered a cardiac arrest before being shifted to Fortis Hospital, Mohali.”
