There is clearly a lot of animosity between Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev before their showdown at UFC 320. A former champion, Pereira, seeks revenge after losing his title to Ankalaev at UFC 313 and wants to reclaim championship status. Recently, ‘Poatan’ mentioned that he does not think Ankalaev deserves to be champion because he is not a fighter who has the audience’s interest as a fighter.

Pereira doesn’t think much of Ankalaev. He said the Dagestani couldn’t hurt him even on his worst day and promised their next fight would go very differently. ‘Poatan’ called Ankalaev boring and said he’s not championship material. He’s confident he’ll perform much better than he did in their last fight together.
