Alana Thompson, known to reality pageant followers as Honey Boo Boo, was in a car crash this week, her mother shared on social media.

June Shannon, who goes by Mama June, posted a video Sept. 26 on Instagram, revealing that her daughter is “at home and resting” after she “T-boned” on the road.

Shannon said the other vehicle hit the driver's side of Thompson's car, adding that the accident “could have been a lot worse.”

Thompson was initially taken to an area hospital with back pain and “some headache issues,” before recovering at home, Shannon said.
